Are you a new business owner or solopreneur who is looking to expand by hiring a virtual assistant? Listen to these steps to take BEFORE you hire to help make the transition smoother for you AND your assistant. Plus, listen for bonus technology that I used to help streamline communication and accountability for my VA and for myself.

Tech Tip Tuesday is brought to you by Kajabi - The number one platform for coaches and course creators. Get 5 weeks of Kajabi for only $5 - https://app.kajabi.com/r/zt3f7AsH/t/bczfqhnr

Tech mentioned:

www.Asana.com

www.Loom.com

Tips:

- Prepare yourself by using a task management tool - I recommend Asana.

- Expect to do more work than you think you will - setting up procedures and adding extra tasks to your own plate to make it easier for your VA are going to happen! It's better to know ahead of time.

- Plan on a 90-day learning curve for you AND your team member - outsourcing help will create new challenges you were not expecting, but it all sorts out around 90 days.

- Use Loom to create training videos that can be used next time you onboard help.
