Would You Rather Wednesday! A Question To Help You Get Clear On Your Goals

Are you living your life on autopilot? Getting up each day and going through the motions thinking that "one day" you'll get some passive income going. Or maybe, once a situation in your life calms down, or your spouse's job situation changes, THEN you'll take the plunge and move the needle in your life!

We can get stuck in a rut by doing this because it is so easy to go through the motions, focus on the day ahead, and the day after that... and quickly lose sight of the big dream and big mission you have in your heart.

I can remember many times having a horrible day, feeling like everything just was piling up on me, forcing me to long for change. For many years our log cabin dream was just that, a dream. An idea we would pull off the shelf and discuss on these "bad days." Sometimes, I would look back and think, wow it's been almost a year since we last talked about this because time moved quickly when I was focusing on the day ahead rather than my big plan.

Today's episode asks you to dig deep within yourself and be honest, would you rather play the long game, the game that involves going to work and retiring after a 20 + year career or would you rather take a small risk in yourself and give it a real shot at retiring sooner?

Sometimes, even though we would RATHER take option B, to retire sooner, we allow ourselves to stay stuck in the rut that leads to option A.
